Dansk: Scene af det italienske folkeliv.
Object type painting

Description
The experts at Bruun Rasmussen read the date on the painting as 1839. This is somewhat dubious, given that Frølich did not visit Italy until 1846. He may of course have been inspired by other works. But the inscription could also be read as 1859.
