Summary
[edit]DescriptionLord Street Station - geograph.org.uk - 1395160.jpg |
English: Lord Street Station. This clock tower was built in 1894 over the entrance to the Stockport & Cheshire Lines Extension Terminus, whose railway ran through the sand dunes to Chester.
At present it affords access to the Morrisons supermarket which occupies the site of the former station, but there are plans for it to be developed as a hotel or apartments. 1395171 |
