The temple is near the town of Nagar Untari, in the Garhwa district in the state of Jharkhand. It is one of the most revered places of worship in Northern India. Approximately 1 million pilgrims (yatris) visit the temple every year[2] and it is the oldest best metal Lord Krishan Statue available in India, after .A rail link from Jabalpur to howrah is being built to facilitate . The nearest airport is Ranchi Airport. All leading domestic airlines have their services to Ranchi Airport. According to a Hindu epic, Baba Banshidharwas found in Shiv Pahari 3 Km Away from The Mahuariya Railway Station, Which is situated on Chopan garhwa rail line. The statue is found in Shubh Samvat 1885, when Dynasty of King Bhawani Singh. His wife Smt Shivmani Kunwar is devotee of the Lord Krishna. She was widow and not having any child. She was very kind and generous and devotee to the Lord Krishna. On the day of Janamashtmi(birth day of Lord Krishna) she was dreamed of the Lord and found him calling to come and get me to your place. When she wakeup in the morning she called to the assistance and explain the whole story. A team of Karmakandi pundit, rajkarmachari and team of musical team proceeds to find the statue. When she reached that space, Find the same space appearing in the dream, digging work stated taking place along with the citation of Ved mantras. The Head of the Statue is started appearing. After some time the whole Statue come out. The statue is symbol of artistic metal work of the era of Samvat 1761. The Lord Krishna is situated on lotus flower inbuilt on Sheshnag. In This statue he is appearing in smiling face with Flute. The Height of statue is 4feet and weight is approx. 1280 Kg. The another statue of beloved of Lord Krishna, Raddha is made of Alloy of Astdhatu placed by Ms. Shivmani Kunwar It is believed that this yellow metallic beautiful, attractive and artistic rare statue is not available in this world. |
