A defended building, this former red brick 18th century barn with thatched roof served as Home Guard command post during WWII, with its northwestern corner having been reinforced and two loopholes added. Since having been photographed three years ago, in 2005, when still a barn > 344683, the building has been lovingly converted to a private dwelling house > 821873.
