| Description |
English: Loop walk (return leg) - turning west. A gravel track shown at 1045980 leads southwards up to this gate; the track is part of a waymarked circular route through Whinny Hill Woods, and can be seen entering at the left of the photo.
At this gate, the circular route then turns abruptly towards the west, i.e., towards the photographer's position. (Note that the section of track visible beyond the fence is not a part of the route.) After turning to the west, the track soon leads back to a junction (by means of the right-hand path shown here: 1045745); that junction was the start of the outward leg of the circular walk, and arriving there completes the circular part of the walk. |
