Loop from a D-shaped buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy buckle of late medieval to early post-medieval date. The object consists of the frame and pin from a single loop buckle dating from the mid 15th to mid 16th century AD. The frame is an elongated D-shape and is oval in section with a slightly offset bar of circular section. The pin is of flattened, tapering copper-alloy sheeteing with a two small projecting tabs near the loop. The object measures 38.2mm high by 21.9mm wide and 6.5mm thick. It weighs 6.55g.
