Photograph looking west from Hotel Point, Grand Canyon, showing Mount Wa-tha-wa-lee, 1900-1930. The hump of mountain at upper right is dotted with trees and brush. The steep jagged rocky slopes of the canyon wall at right in shadow were formed by erosion. The canyon spreads out into the distance, the rim forming a horizontal line at the horizon at top.
