Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Looking towards Drumduff Hill. The countryside of Tyrone and the village of Sixmilecross in particular, are associated with the poet William Forbes Marshall and his brother Robert in the same way that Sligo is associated with Yeats, and "Wessex" (Dorset/Somerset) with Thomas Hardy. Such is the connection between Marshall and mid Tyrone that the area can now be seen at its best by following a route which has been called after them; the Marshall Country Trail.
