Description
English: Longdon on Tern aqueduct This Shrewsbury canal aqueduct started life as a stone construction. A severe storm washed most of it away. Thomas Telford took over the project and built this iron construction. It was forged locally at Ketley. It is reputed to be the largest surviving iron aqueduct in the world.
