Description A far shot of Wat Phnom, the shrine atop a small hill. This is the centre of Phnom Penh city, the city's symbol and the focal point of all the city's festivities during occasions. Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple (wat) which was built in 1373, and stands 27 metres above the ground. It is the tallest religious structure in the city. The pagoda was given the name of Wat Preah Chedey Borapaut. (Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Apr/ May 2014)
