Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Long Lane, Belfast. Long Lane was an alley running from North Street to Church Street. When this photo was taken all the buildings had been demolished, for the construction of the new Tourist Board offices, and the lane existed in name only. 110 years earlier it contained "One House, remainder stores". The Art College (before reconstruction) 693237 is at middle left while St Anne's Cathedral 412407 had still to acquire its "knitting needle".
