| Description |
English: London Transport bus RT4728 (reg. OLD 514), pictured outside the Camelot Pub in Lambourne End, having terminated on a route 150 working from Beacontree Heath. Having been operated by the RT type since 5 May 1948 (with intermediate periods of RTW/RTL operation), on 15 October 1977 the route was converted to one man operation using DMS class Daimler Fleetlines. According to this image, by 27 December 1977 RT4728 was Wombwell Diesels with its back end caved in from being used to push other wrecks around the yard in reverse gear. |
