Summary
[edit]DescriptionLondon Road Housing Development - geograph.org.uk - 976815.jpg |
English: London Road Housing Development One of the bigger brownfield reclamation projects is happening on Peterborough's western flank. The former London Brick company pits and brick making sites are and have been transformed into retail, housing and business areas. This particular site was home to the transport fleet. Lorry enthusiasts will remember the 8 wheeler AEC Mammoth Majors bedecked with a Phorpres Bricks Headboard and the iconic Phorpres man holding a brick hod. Social housing construction is under way on this site. |
