| Description |
English: London Road High Level railway station, Nottingham, 1982 Opened in 1900 by the Great Northern railway when they linked their Grantham-Nottingham line into the new Victoria railway station, it largely superseded the original terminus (low level). High Level closed in 1967. View north east from London Road bridge. For more recent views from approximately the same spot, see SK5739 : London Road High Level railway station, Nottingham, 2000 and SK5739 : London Road High Level railway station (site), Nottingham. Not a single building seen here survives today. |
