English: Up express for Charing Cross entering London Bridge Station. View SE, towards the SE London suburbs and Kent: ex-SE&CR lines and ex-LB&SCR lines over to the right. The 15.25 from Margate (via Ramsgate, Deal, Dover and Ashford) to Charing Cross is passing Platform 7 of London Bridge (Eastern) Station, headed by SR rebuilt Bulleid Light Pacific No. 34016 'Bodmin' (built 11/45 as No. 21C116, rebuilt 4/58, withdrawn 10/66 but saved from Barry Scrapyard and now preserved on the Mid-Hants Railway). On the right are the Low Level platforms, with London Bridge Signalbox beyond and the Central Section Station off to the right. |
