Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Londesborough Park Halt, Shiptonthorpe, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Londesborough Park Halt was the name given to the station in nearby Shiptonthorpe. It was built by George Hudson the railway king as he lived at Londesborough Hall about a mile and a half away. The station building is now a farm. The line, which ran from Hull to York was one of Dr. Beeching's closures in 1966. The building just squeezes into the south west corner of the grid square.
