| Description |
English: Global representation of the county area comprising the parishes Lohn Winterswijk, Aalten, Varsseveld, Zelhem, Hengelo and Dinxperlo next Stadtlohn and Südlohn around the year 1154. The shaded area contains Lichtenvoorde and Groenlo. Some autors claim that they were part of it, some autors think not. For both theorem is no evidence. The west border is based on bordermap of Münster 1, the north border is based on Herrschaft 2. The south border is between Netherlands-Germany and was clear accept the part at Dinxperlo, the southernpart was original Dutch.
Deutsch: Karte mit der ungefähren Ausdehnung der historischen Herrschaft Lohn im Bereich des heutigen Westmünsterlandes und Achterhoeks um das Jahr 1154. Das Gebiet umfasst die Pfarreien Winterswijk, Aalten, Varsseveld, Zelhem, Hengelo und Dinxperlo auf heute niederländischer sowie Stadtlohn und Südlohn auf heute deutscher Seite. Ob auch Groenlo und Lichtenvoorde, hier schraffiert dargestellt, Teil der Herrlichkeit waren, lässt sich nicht mehr mit Bestimmheit sagen.
Die Darstellung der Westgrenze basiert auf der ehemaligen Bistumsgrenze der Diözese Münster, die über das Gebiet des Fürstbistums hinausging. Die Nordgrenze entspricht der Darstellung der Grenze in dieser Karte der Herrlichkeit Bredevoort.Die Südgrenze folgt in etwa der heutigen Staatsgrenze. Nederlands: Globale voorstelling van het gebied van het graafschap Lohn omvattende de parochies Winterswijk, Aalten, Varsseveld, Zelhem, Hengelo en Dinxperlo naast Stadtlohn en Südlohn omstreeks het jaar 1154. Het gearceerde gebied bevat Lichtenvoorde en Groenlo. Volgens sommige auteurs hoorde dit erbij, andere auteurs vinden van niet. Voor beide stellingen is vooralsnog geen bewijs. De westgrens is gebasseerd op grenskaartje bisom Münster 1, de noordgrens op Heerlijkheid Bredevoort 2. De zuidgrens ligt vast door de aanwezigheid van de landsgrens, behalve dinxpero, het zuidelijke deel was oorspronkelijk Nederlands |
