Description
English: Listed petrol station with the first Berliner motor service area. Berlin-Kreuzberg, Lohmühleninsel. Built according to plans by Paul Schröder and Max Pohl in 1928/29. Today used as coffee house.
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützte Tankstelle auf der Lohmühleninsel in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Die heute ausrangierte Tankstelle wurde 1928/1929 nach Plänen der Architekten Paul Schröder und Max Pohl gebaut. Sie ist die älteste erhaltene Berliner und war seinerzeit die erste Berliner Tankstelle mit angeschlossener Raststätte. Heute dient das Gebäude als Kaffeehaus.
