Description

Postcard of the lodge at the main gate of Wardown House, Wardown Park, Luton, England.

Warden House is a mansion which was designed for Frank Chapman Scargill (1836–1919) in Bramingham, Luton, by architect Thomas Charles Sorby (d.1924). It is now Wardown Park Museum, Luton. The building was completed in 1877. It is possible that Sorby designed the lodge, too.
