Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Locomobile auto in front of Capen Motor Car Company at 4739-4743 McPherson Avenue. Capen Motor Car was the sole dealership for Locomobiles in St. Louis. Locomobile adhered to a strict policy of producing no more than four cars per day. Its business model was to build fewer cars of the highest quality, a strategy in direct opposition to the mass production techniques pioneered by Ford Motor Company.
