I visited the Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum today. It is located at the Hillsboro Oregon airport. I took lots of photos and will be posting them over the next few days. The lighting in the two hangers where the aircraft are housed isn't that great, so apologies ahead of time for the poor quality of some of the photos. This photo shows the tail section of the Lockheed and its engine. The museum would like to get this aircraft completely restored; at least to the point of getting the engine to "make noise". |
