Description
English: c/n 683B-3015. JASDF Serial 36-8515. It is an Mitsubishi production aircraft. Built 1963 A standard squadron aircraft for most of it’s life, this Starfighter saw out its final year in service operating with the Gifu based Air Proving Wing, flying with them from 1985 until retirement in 1986. It joined the museum in 1996 and is preserved still wearing its Air Proving Wing (APW) markings. The Air Proving Wing was the forerunner of the current Air Development & Test Wing (ADTW). She remains on display in Area A3 at Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum, Kakamigahara, Gifu. 13th March 2020
