Description
English: Lock No 19, Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, Aston An empty lock, about to have its bottom gate opened to admit a narrowboat. This is the sixth lock down of the Aston flight of eleven, which lower the water by seventy feet (about 21 metres). The canal has 38 locks in its 15 miles from Farmer's bridge Junction to Fazeley Junction, where it joins the Coventry canal.
