| Description |
English: Loch a'Choire Dhomhain Three weeks before midsummer, the last day of the Scottish walking season before peak midge infestation, but this high tarn is still icy and snow-covered. Fortunately the ridges tend to be blown clear of snow during the winter and offer dry footing for the walker from early spring. I had reached this point by climbing from the shore of Loch Mullardoch without having to cross any of the snow fields filling the northern corries. |
