[edit]DescriptionLoch Leven Castle tower house - geograph.org.uk - 895627.jpg |
English: Loch Leven Castle tower house Remarkably intact for a fourteenth century structure, this tower house is one of the oldest still standing in Scotland. During her imprisonment, Mary, Queen of Scots lived on the third floor of this building. She was moved here, possibly from the Glassin tower on the south east corner of the castle, after miscarrying her twins. |
