Summary
[edit]DescriptionLocation of retracted testicles.jpg |
English: In the upper images is demonstrated the difference in the appearance of a postpubertal male's genitalia when the testicles are normally down in the scrotum (left image) and after they have retracted into the inguinal canals (right image) due to sexual arousal. The testicles can be seen as small bulges on both sides of the empty scrotum in the right image.
In the lower images is demonstrated the location of the testicles in the inguinal canals. In the left image the male is gently pushing his right testicle downward, it can be seen as a bump in front of his fingers. In the right image the testicles are seen between his fingers on both sides of the base of the penis. The male seen in these images (age 32) has had a tendency of his testicles to occasionally slip or retract into the inguinal canals since childhood. This usually happens in cold temperatures (flaccid penis) or during strong sexual arousal (erect penis) when the scrotum tightens. Retracted testicles feels slightly unpleasant and can cause social embarrasment in certain situations. The male seen in these images has otherwise normal sexual functions and his testicles are of typical size. |
