Summary

[edit]
Description
English: "A Viet Cong locally made electrical firing device. One end of a piece of communication wire is attached to a blasting cap. About two (2) feet of the other end is stripped and attached to the flat side of a board which has a hole in each corner. Another piece of wire which has one end attached to a battery is stripped for about two (2) feet and attached to the flat side of a second board that has a peg in each corner that will line up with the holes in the first board. One board is then placed over the other. The amount of pressure to push the boards together is determined by the fit of the pegs in the holes thus the device can be either anti-personnel or anti-vehicular. This device is installed similar to the one described in 159 - March 1966."
