Description

The paddlesteamer was the "Corowa". It was negative No. 1587, so probably 1910s. See "River Boat Boys" (Phillips) p. 88. (G Brooks)

The 'Corowa' was a stern wheeler and one of the Gem Navigation Company's fleet. The Gem Navigation Company was formed on 22 November 1909 and operated until it became part of the newly formed Murray Shipping Limited on 14 June 1919. Source:
