| Description |
English: Llanwrtyd station, with Up train.
View eastward, towards Llandrindod, Craven Arms and Shrewsbury: ex-LNWR (Shrewsbury) - Craven Arms - Llandrindod Wells - Llandovery - Swansea Victoria, Central Wales line. Since 15/6/64, when Swansea Victoria and the line to it from Pontardulais were closed, the service has run via Llanelli. The station - 'Llanwrtyd Wells' until 12/5/80 - had been refurbished in connection with the upgrading of the route as the 'Heart of Wales' line. The Class 153 DMU is bound for Shrewsbury. |
