Summary
[edit]DescriptionLlanhilleth railway station - geograph.org.uk - 3309059.jpg |
English: Llanhilleth railway station. Opened in 1901 by the Great Western Railway on the line from Newport (Gwent) to Ebbw Vale, this station closed in 1962. It was rebuilt on much the same site (the original was only on this side of the road bridge and appears to have had three platforms, 2 being on a large island platform to the right). The station reopened in 2008. View east towards Crumlin and Newport. |
