English: Llanddewi church interior The nave and chancel are not exactly in line. According to the explanatory leaflet "local tradition has it that the church was built like this to remind worshippers that when Jesus Christ was crucified... His head leant to one side."
The church dates back to the C14 but Victorian restoration swept away the famous box pew used by the squire of Henllys and his family. |
