Description
English: Italy Italy, Livorno, Piazza Modigliani, Fountain of Neptune. It is situated in the middle of Modigliani Square, named after Amedeo Modigliani’s brother who was a Member of Parliament. The fountain is an homage to the sea and was donated by Giuseppe Valaperti to Livorno in 1934 and restored in 1999; it represents god Neptune, the Naiad and four dolphins.
