English: Locomotives at Liverpool Street Station in Steam days. View SW from the cab road off Primrose St.; ex-Great Eastern major London terminus. On the left is BR Standard Class 7 'Britannia' 4-6-2 No. 70007 'Coeur de Lion' in the Loco Yard, while to the right is K3 Class 2-6-0 No. 61880 at Platform 10, ahead of an Up express; beyond are the West Side suburban platforms. In those days Liverpool Street Station was always in a pall of smoke. |
