Description
English: Little Tarn Broughton Moor. Named Little Tarn on the 1863 6inch map, it has filled in and shrunk somewhat now, and often dries up completely in Summer, leaving the smaller but deeper claypit behind as the only standing water. Described on the geological map as being in boulder clay above pale purple sandstone.
