Summary
[edit]DescriptionLittleEva16.jpg |
English: Cover of Little Eva Comics, volume 1, number 16, May 1954, as published by St. John Publications Co. This image has lapsed into the public domain, due to St. John failing to renew the copyright. Little Eva was St John's replacement for Little Audrey after the license was transferred to Harvey Comics. Little Eva followed much the same formula as her predecessor; most covers typically featured visual sight-gags with little to no dialogue. Compare this image with the cover to Little Audrey Volume 1, number 9 (1950): |

This work is in the public domain because it was published in the United States between 1929 and 1963, and although there may or may not have been a copyright notice, the copyright was not renewed.
