Description
English: São Francisco de Paula, Brazil’s south - Alley of liquidambar, with the Chimarrão Monument. Chimarrão, a typical infusion of yerba mate from the south of the country, is drunk communally and is a symbol of hospitality and tradition. From Wikipedia: "Liquidambar, commonly called sweetgum (star gum in the UK), gum, redgum, satin-walnut, or American storax, is the only genus in the flowering plant family Altingiaceae and has 15 species."
