"STARRED AND FRINGED"— In
the Fringed Flowers, the petals are
partly fimbricated and partly three-
toothed, in more than 20 different
shades. In the Starred Phloxes the
pointed central teeth of the petals
are five or six times as long as the
lateral ones and project beyond them
like little spines, giving the flowers
a star-like form. Pkt., 200 seeds, 5c.
DRUMMONDII GRANDIFLORA— Their long duration in bloom, combined with
their almost unequaled richness of color, renders them invaluable service in the
flower garden. The colors range in every conceivable shade, producing flowers twice
the size of common Phlox. Pkt., 200 seeds, 5 cts.
PERENNIAL, CHOICEST MIXED— The perennial variety of Phlox is among the
choicest of our bedding and border plants. They are hardy and need no protection ;
will flourish in any soil, succeeding better, however, in deep rich, rather moist ground.
Pkt., 25 seeds, 5 cts.
NOTICE— ONE PACKET EACH OF THE ENTIRE COLLECTION OF PHLOX»
NINE PACKETS, 35 CENTS.
PYRETHRUM
Handsome herbaceous plants of easy culture, and becoming more popular as they
become better known.
ROSEUM — Large flowering single mixed. Hardy perennial, bearing large Daisy
or Cosmos-like flowers, ranging in color from light pink to deep red, with bright
yellow centres ; blooms in May and June and again in the fall, and is one of the most
graceful and long-lasting cut flowers; 2 feet. 100 seeds, 8 cts.
TJLIGINOSUM (Giant Daisy) — A fine hardy perennial, grows 3 to 4 feet high,
and from July to September is literally hidden beneath the multitude of large white
daisy-like flowers. Blooms the first year if sown early. 100 seeds, 8 cts.
Writing you a word of praise on your flower seeds. All my fiowers last season
were the best ever, just beautiful, grown from your seeds. Your Asters were
grand — never saw their equal — some had as many as 82 buds and blossoms on one
stem. — Mrs. Irving L. Maynard.

Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was published (or registered with the U.S. Copyright Office) before January 1, 1929.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
