Description

Lipomas of the tongue are so rare that I wanted to make sure this wasn't some odd-looking hemangioma. Although not specific, the S-100 immunostain decorates lipocytes, as seen here, supporting the diagnosis of lipoma. Inversely, the endothelial markers, factor VIII and CD34, were negative.
