Description

גן בלומפילד נמצא בין רח' דוד המלך לשכונות ימין משה ומשכנות שאננים. הגן מחולק לשניים עי שד' בלומפילד אשר באופיה הינה שדרה של עצי זית המהווה את הגישה לשכונת ימין משה. חלקו הדרומי של הגן הינה מדשאה גדולה אשר נטועה בעצי זית ותיקים המסתיימת במזרקת האריות.

The Lions sculpture is a water fountain and a sculpture in the Blumfield Park in Jerusalem. This fountain is situated near the Liberty Bell Park, The Jerusalem Cinematheque and St Andrew’s Church. Roughly speaking it is not far from the historic border between East and West Jerusalem. The purpose of its positioning is to create a meeting space between the Jewish and Arab communities in the city. The statue was created in 1989 and was the first public water fountain in the city. It was donated by the West German Republic and was inaugurated as part of the visit of the West German Chancellor Helmut Kohl.
