Summary

[edit]
Description
English: One of two cast-iron lions, different; the other one seems to be asleep, but you never can tell with lions. Grade II listed, from the foundry of Antoine Durenne, Paris. They appear to be copies of a pair of lions sculpted by Antonio Canova in 1792 for the tomb of Pope Clement XIII in St Peter's in Rome.
