English: Linford: Linford Bottom I remember coming here many times as a child, with a free rein to run around and paddle in those halcyon days of endless hot summers and permanent leisure time, which Im sure were not quite as endless as they seem to be remembered! Now, at eight oclock in the evening, the car park has just been locked and the whole area is deserted quite a strange sight when you recall it being always packed.
The first weekend of half-term, and the hottest day of the year so far by quite a margin on a Bank Holiday weekend, this would earlier have been filled with children and dogs enjoying the area. |
