Description
English: Title: Lincoln and Hamlin

Abstract: Print shows a small campaign banner consisting of an American flag pattern, with thirty-one stars, printed on fabric. The words "Lincoln and Hamlin" are overprinted in black. Collins describes a similar example, but with a slightly different placing of the overprinting. This example resembles two small flag banners produced by Howard for the Breckenridge-Lane (no. 1860-19) and Douglas-Johnson (no. 1860-20) tickets. Physical description: 1 print on fabric : lithograph, color ; sheet 20 x 29 cm.
