English: Limestone wall A wall runs along the edge of the coastal limestone pavement, which is largely devoid of walls as there is no reason for livestock to go there. The habit of the wall-builders to use elongated stones orientated vertically is illustrated here, as is the rather thin, gappy construction which results. |
