English: Limekilns below Carreg yr Eos These two limekilns are sited just above a little cove on the western side of Lower Town harbour, at the foot of the steep hill called The Slade. The name of house below which they stand means Nightingale Rock.
There is another limekiln not far away at the mouth of the Gwaun. |
