| Description |
English: Lime Kiln below Staward Pele Keys to the Past Web Site: Although a lime kiln was reported to be located on the hillside below Staward Pele, nothing can be seen, and it is unlikely that there ever was a lime kiln here, as the hillside is almost vertical. I think this is the mystery lime kiln and is in the exact location indicated on the location map on the Keys to the Past Web Site. Above the lime kiln is very steep but from here to the river is very flat and there is a well defined cart track close by. |
