Description
Français : Lille (France - département du Nord) — La Porte de Paris.
Construite de 1685 à 1692 par l'architecte Simon Vollant ; la façade côté Ville que l'on doit Louis-Marie Cordonnier est néanmoins du XIXe siècle.
Elle est le plus communément perçue tel un arc de triomphe célébrant les victoires de Louis XIV et plus encore, de marquer le rattachement de Lille à la France.
