| Description | Yes, I know I said many times earlier that I am not a big fan of skyscrapers and big steel and glass buildings. But I did like the way these three buildings seem to interlock. We are well into our Shanghai Huangpu River cruise now and as the boat prepares to turn around and head back up north, we see everywhere signs of the Huangpu River Restoration Project. These three skyscrapers are part of that re=development. Under the scheme, nearly 20km of downtown waterfront on both shores (especially on the Puxi) are being turned into marinas, riverside parks, housing and shopping complexes. These buildings are not on the Puxi side but rather on the Pudong side of the river. (Shanghai, China, May 2017) |
