Summary
[edit]DescriptionLightning Over Troops in Afghanistan MOD 45157893.jpg |
English: Lightning shoots across the Afghan sky over troops and vehicles with The Highlanders, 4th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland (4SCOTS).
4 SCOTS deployed from Camp Bastion in order to secure routes for the safe passage of British, American and Afghan vehicles helping in the closure of the American FOB Nolay. The operation, which in total will span 10 days, will end in the closure of PB Sterga 2, the last British base outside of Camp Bastion in Helmand Province. 4 SCOTS, and their various attachments, carried out numerous patrols and road moves to ensure that road moves could be carried out as safely as possible.
