Description
English: In the first pictures (last post) I was concerned with showing the lighthouse by itself, these shots show more of the surrounds and area.

This lighthouse is located in a private field and is in a very deteriorated state. I was not sure if it was alright to go into the field or not but since no one was home I took a chance and managed to get this shot.

The range lights were discontinued around 1970. This the front range light was relocated to the field after it was decommissioned.

Location: Lower L'Ardoise east coast of Cape Breton Island

Tower Height: 6.7 meters (22ft) Characteristic: Fixed red light, visible for 6 nautical miles Description of Tower: White, square, wooden tower This light is not operational
