Alors que le débat sur la transition énergétique ne fait que commencer, et la SNCF testant de son côté des solutions alternatives comme l'hydrogène, l'électrification de ce barreau d'environ 160 km, annoncée depuis plusieurs décennies, ne semble plus vraiment à l'ordre du jour. Projet rassemblant pourtant, fait assez rare pour être souligné, un large consensus au sein de la classe politique locale... Cela améliorerait sans doute, des performances de fond pourtant pas insignifiantes dans l'absolu. La demi-lune du TIV de type C indique ainsi une vitesse de 120 km/h pour les éléments automoteurs (typiquement sur cette relation, B 81500). |
